Uses

This medication is used in combination with another drug (mifepristone) to end a pregnancy (abortion).

Side Effects

It can cause severe ongoing stomach discomfort or diarrhea, feeling very thirsty or hot, being unable to urinate, heavy sweating, or hot and dry skin.

When not to use

Hypersensitivity to misoprostol, prostaglandins, or prostaglandin analogues
